Desiring to follow Jesus Christ and His model, we seek to save children from physically and emotionally dangerous situations, providing them a safe, healthy, caring, loving, nurturing environment – and to educate them, and help them eventually integrate happily and productively into society as young adults. Most importantly, we strive to lead them to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. With God’s help, we work to give them a hope and a future. A key Bible verse for us: "I know well what I have in mind for you, says the Lord - plans for your abundant well-being - not bad things, but plans to give you great hope, and an extraordinary future." Truly caring for our children begins with understanding their family history, educational background, and their community. We get to know each child — their past challenges, current issues, giftings, longings, hopes and dreams. We delight in our children and want the very best for them. We strive to impart the knowledge, and the deep feeling and assurance, that they’re loved and accepted just the way they are – loved and cared about by us, and by their Heavenly Father. It is deeply gratifying to see so many of them blossom and flourish, as they gradually learn to see themselves as He does - a beloved, empowered child of the most high God – and the emotional and spiritual healing and transformation that, over time, beautifully manifest through that deep and miraculous paradigm shift.

A quality education is key to escaping poverty. We make sure we place all our kids in great schools, which helps quip them with the skills they need to rise above their past circumstances and help change their communities. And, the health of our children is vital to their development and overall well-being, so we go the ‘extra mile’ to make sure that they are fit and well, and can enjoy their childhood, and grow into happy, healthy adults.
It’s a profound privilege to teach our kids of God’s great love for them, and to demonstrate this through the quality of our care. This includes our core value of belonging. In some cases for the first time ever, our children know, and deeply feel, that they truly belong.

Psalm 68:5-6a declares: "The Father to orphans, champion of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God places the homeless in good homes, and liberates prisoners from their bondages." (paraphrased)
As our children mature, and their desire for spiritual answers grows, we encourage them to discover a knowledge, respect, and love of God, and for themselves and each other -- and a desire to share that with others.

Might you consider breathing a prayer even now, asking our Lord if He would have you share financially with PRR at this time? We diligently strive to be careful stewards of the funds we receive, and we consider it God’s money. We know we’ll be held accountable to Him for it someday. Proverbs 19:17 reminds us, “Giving to the needy is actually lending it to the Lord. And He will pay it back, in full."(paraphrased)
